The location for filing suit, or jurisdiction, is important in each case.  We have found it best to file suit where the Defendant is located, whether a business or residence, or where the company’s Registered Agent is located, or where the service was performed or merchandise delivered.  Sometimes, the Credit Application will select the jurisdiction for purposes of suit, regardless of the location of Debtor.
